AOT to rehabilitate several hotels in Aden and Abyan

ADEN, Aug. 09 (Saba)-The Arab Organization for Tourism (AOT) agreed
on Saturday with the Yemen to rehabilitate several hotels in Aden
and Abyan governorates within preparations of Yemen to host 20th
Gulf competition by 2011.

The agreement was reached in a meeting brought together Minister of
Sports and Youths Hamoud Abad, Minister of Tourism Nabil al-Faqih,
Aden governor Adnan al-Jafri and the AOT delegation.

The meeting focused on current cooperation between Yemen and the
organization and current arrangements for hosting the Gulf event as
well as assistance offered by the organization for Yemen.

The head of the AOT delegation Bandar al-Fahd expressed readiness of
the organization to set up 100 beach cabins in Aden city within
coming two years in cooperation with the Yemeni government.
