President Saleh sends letters to Saudi King

JEDDAH, Aug. 09 (Saba)- Minister of Defence Mohammed Nasser Ahmed
handed over two letters to Saudi Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of
Defence and Aviation, Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud from
President Ali AbdullahSaleh to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques
King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz a-Saud.

They exchanged greetings of the two countries leaderships.

During the meeting, they discussed issues of common concern between
the two countries.

In a statement to Saba, the minister expressed his happiness to
visit Saudi Arabia to meet with Saudi officials to exchange
viewpoints regarding strengthening cooperation ties in all fields
between the two countries.

He added that the discussions between the two sides comes in the
framework of cooperation between the two countries and to make use
of Saudi experiences, in addition to improve strong partnership
relations between Yemen and Saudi Arabia in framework of Arab joint
work aiming to serve the two countries and peoples interests.
