Venezuela's Chavez sympathizes with Iranians
Tehran, Dec 22, IRNA – President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez expressed his condolences on Wednesday to the Iranian nation including families of victims of the strong 6.5-magnitute earthquake happened in the southeastern Iranian province of Kerman on December 20.
Extending a message of sympathy to the Iranian nation and government, President Chavez said Venezuela attaches great importance to the Islamic Republic of Iran and is ready to help the quake-stricken people.
A strong quake jolted Kerman on Monday that caused serious damage to the buildings and killed at least 11 people./end
