Palestinian says resistance continues until liberation of Palestine

Damascus, Dec 22, IRNA – Secretary Genera of Islamic Jihad Movement Ramadan Abdullah Shallah underlined that struggle and resistance continue until full liberation of Palestine from the Zionist regime occupation and return of Palestinian refugees to home.

Shallah made the remarks in a ceremony in which Palestinian groups leaders residing in Damascus met with members of Asian Relief Caravan for Gaza here.

The secretary general added that the Palestine issue is not limited to Gaza region, but 'we should try for liberation of all Palestinian occupied territories from the Zionist regime'.

He continued that the Zionist regime is criminal, which has forced real inhabitants of Palestine to leave their own home and now there are more than 5 million Palestinian refugees all around the world who should return to their homeland.

Secretary General of Popular Front for Liberation of Palestine – General Command Ahmed Jibril, for his part, said that big countries and a number of Arab countries share in Gaza besiege by the Zionist regime.

He said that world Imperialism, i.e. the USA, Britain and France, after World War II and with the politico-military and economic goals established the Zionist regime in the Middle East.

Jibril stressed that we are disappointed by Arabs who do not learn from free nations of the world how to support innocent nation of Palestine.

Head of Asian Relief Caravan” one” Feirouz Barvalla, also for his part, said that the Zionist regime is abusing compromise process to mislead world public opinion and will never be ready for peace and compromise.

He added that the caravan has four big goals including liberation of whole Palestine, removing Gaza blockade, underlining on severing ties of countries with the Zionist regime and permanent continuation of Asian nations solidarity with people of Palestine and Gaza.

In the meeting, most of Palestinian leaders and officials residing in Damascus and a number of Syrian officials as well as all members of the Asian Caravan were present.

The caravan carrying medical and relief aid from 125 humanitarian institutes from Iran, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey and several other Asian countries.

Activists of the caravan have already declared to Egyptian officials that they are going to enter Gaza on the day of December 27, 2010./end
