Iran supports nations' resistance against bullying powers

Tehran, Dec 22, IRNA – Iran will support the resistance of all nations against expansionist and bullying powers, First Vice-President Mohammad-Reza Rahimi said Tuesday.

He made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Minister of Water Resources Management and Development of Zimbabwe Samuel Sipepa Nkomo.

Rahimi referred to Zimbabwe as a country in the front line of the fight against tyranny and efforts to restore its violated rights.

He hoped that other African states would follow the case of Zimbabwe to regain their violated rights from hegemonic powers.

Referring to Tehran-Harare good relations, Rahimi said that the two capitals had friendly ties.

He stressed that Iranian experts were ready to help their Zimbabwean counterparts in dam-building and power plants construction in that country.

Meanwhile, The Zimbabwean minister, for his part, appreciated Iran's support for that country calling for further cooperation between the two states specially in the field of energy and health activities./end
