Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The 6th Youth World Championships for Kurash took place December 14-18 in New Delhi city, India. The competitions have attracted some 300 male and female wrestlers from 35 countries.
Mongolia has been represented by 14 wrestlers led by B.Ganbaatar, a vice president of Mongolia's Kurash Wrestling Federation (MKWF). The team competed in all seven weight categories, and has won three gold, two silver and two bronze medals. The gold medalists are G.Chimednorov (women's 57 kg), M.Khorolsuren (women's 70 kg) and N.Nyamtuya (women's -78 kg).
As the team results, the Mongolian youth took 1st place.

A draughts player of Mongolia and four-time Asian champion D.Erdenebileg is competing in the tournament of the top players which started December 17 in the Netherlands.
Apart of D.Erdenebileg, the competition is running among a Grand Master Alexander Shvartsman, six-time world champion (Russia); a Grand Master Alexander Georgiev; Walners; Alexander Baljakin; and other champions of continents.
For the time being, D.Erdenebileg had draws with A. Shvartsman and A.Georgiev after two games.
