Yemen to attend 26th session of Arab Justice Ministers
SANA'A, Dec. 19 (Saba)
-Yemen is set to take part in the 26th session of Arab Justice Ministers Council
that kicks
off in Cairo on Monday.
The session will discuss a Yemen proposal for preparing a draft Arab agreement on
organizing the transplantation of human organs and combating trade in human organs
as well
as a draft agreement to ban human cloning, Minister for Justice Ghazi al Aghbari
said, upon departure for the event.
The topics of strengthening cooperation to fight terrorism and activating
counterterrorism agreements, uniting Arab legislations and learning from each
others' laws to fight
drugs, crimes and human trade are high on the agenda, he said.
Moreover, the ministers will review the recommendations of the experts from the
Arab Interior and Justice Ministers' Councils regarding an Arab protocol to fight
maritime
piracy.
On Tuesday, al Aghbari will attend the joint meeting by Arab Justice and Interior
Ministers in Cairo.
A number of agreements on combating corruption, money laundering and terrorist
financing and organized crime as well as other accords for the Arab agreement to
fight information
crimes and the Arab agreement for transfer of prisoners will be signed at the
meeting, al Aghbari said.
