S. Korean envoy hopes for bigger Korean investment in Yemen

SANA'A, Dec. 18 (Saba) -
South Korean Ambassador to Yemen Park Kyu-ock Korea said on Saturday he hoped for
bigger
Korean investment in Yemen in the future.
The statement was made in a special celebration held in the Korean Embassy in
Sana'a on the Yemeni-Korean friendship relations in energy area.
The Korean diplomat affirmed he would spare no effort to bolster the mutual
economic relations, especially in fields of industry, oil and gas as well as
encouraging Korean
companies to invest in Yemen.
Undersecretary of Oil and Minerals Ministry Abdul Malik Alama hailed the
deep-rooted relations between Yemen and Korea especially in the energy field,
looking forward to
greater Korean investments in the upcoming period.
