China and Pakistan sign 13 bilateral cooperation agreements.

ISLAMABAD, December 18 (Itar-Tass) -- During the stay of Chinese Prime
Minister Wen Jiabao in Pakistan, the sides signed 13 bilateral agreements
on cooperation in different fields, including a memorandum on
understanding and cooperation in the economic, energy, bank and
technological fields, as well as in the sphere of security, the press
service of the Pakistani government reported on Saturday.
The agreements signed during Wen Jiabao's visit also envisage the
development of interaction between the two countries in the sphere of
education, state and commercial management. Besides, Islamabad secured
Beijing's aid in the development of the Pakistani railway infrastructure.
According to one of the signed agreements, International Radio of
China will begin broadcasting in Pakistan in Urdu and English.
Besides, a mission of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China will
begin operating at the Central State Bank of Pakistan.
