China PM arrives in Pakistan for 3-day official visit

ISLAMABAD, December 17 (Itar-Tass) -- During a visit of Chinese Prime
Minister Wen Jiabao to Pakistan, the sides are to sign contracts worth
about 20 billion dollars, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry reports on Friday.
Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao arrived in Pakistan for a three-day
official visit in the afternoon on Friday.
During the stay of the Chinese premier in the Pakistani capital, he is
to have meetings with Pakistani President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister
Yusuf Gilani and representatives of the country's military command.
Some 150 representatives of the biggest enterprises of China are
accompanying the Chinese premier during the visit.
Islamabad and Beijing are connected by old allied relations. China is
one of the main economic partners of Pakistan.
