China`s Vice President Receives Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin

Beijing, August 08, SPA--Chinese Vice President XI Jinping received
here today Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Secretary
General of National Security Council.

During the meeting, the Chinese Vice President expressed his
country's readiness to raise the level of comprehensive cooperation
in the interest of both countries as well as to push forward the
relations of strategic cooperation between them.
On his part, Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz emphasized that
the Kingdom under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy
Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz attaches great importance to
developing relations of strategic cooperation with China.
The Prince wished all success for the Olympic Games due to start in
Beijing later today.
Last night, Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz met with member of
Standing Committee of Politburo of Central Committee of Chinese
Communist Party Zhou Yongkang .
During the meeting, Zhou noted growing relations between the Kingdom
and China, pointing out that the exchange of visits between officials
of the two countries has upgraded bilateral relations to the peak of
strategic friendship.
He expressed his country's gratitude for the assistance provided by
the Kingdom to China to assist those affected by the earthquake which
struck the southwestern province of Sichuan.
Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz arrived in Beijing on
Thursday.
