The 3rd Asia and Middle East Dialogue (AMED III) concludes

BANGKOK,Dec 16(TNA)- The 3rd Asia and Middle East Dialogue or AMED III under the theme ‘Strengthening Cooperation towards Common Prosperity”’ , hosted in Bangkok, is scheduled to end Thursday (Dec16).
The meeting is being attended by 500 ministers and representatives from the public, private and civic sectors of 50 member states in Asia and the Middle-East, including the Palestinian Authority.

The last day's sessions of the three-day event included a plenary forum on social, educational, science, cultural, environmental and media areas, at which Singapore's senior state minister on foreign affairs, Egypt's vice foreign affairs minister, and the Korea-Arab Society's secretary were to give speeches.

A Thai representative, Poontharik Samiti, Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Labour's Department of Skill Development, is set to then join small group discussions.
In a plenary forum, Thai Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya is scheduled to give a closing speech and to report results of the 3rd AMED III. (TNA)
