HEAD OF CAUCASUS MOSLEMS CLERICAL OFFICE ATTENDS INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
Baku, 08 AUGUST,(AzerTAj)Chairman of the Clerical Office of the Caucasus Muslims Sheikh-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh has attended the international conference “Loving God and Neighbor in Word and Deed†in US’s New Haven city.
The event was organized by Jordan Academy of Islamic Idea “Al-albeyt†and US Wales University. In his speech, Mr. Pashazade gave the detailed information about the mosques , the religious, historical and cultural monuments destroyed by Armenians on the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
Sheikh-ul-Islam also held meetings at Azerbaijan’s permanent representative office under the UN in New York. Summit of the world’s religious leaders is expected to be held in Azerbaijan, October 2009.
