Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology reveals that maximum precipitation was in Malchin soum, (35.0 mm), Uvs aimag in November, 2010. Absolute high air temperature reached 15.0 C in Khanbogd soum, Omnogobi aimag, whereas absolute low air temperature was -35.0 C in Tosontsengel soum, Zavkhan aimag.
Maximum wind speed reached 30-31 m/sec in Khovd soum, Khovd aimag and Olgii soum, Bayan-Olgii aimag. Concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded 29 times in the West Crossroad of Ulaanbaatar city, 23 times in the 32nd circle, eight times in the Khan-Uul district, five times in the Palace of Officers, three times in the 1st micro district; concentration of sulphur dioxide exceeded 30 times in the 32nd circle, 28 times around West crossroad, 23 times around 1st micro district and the Palace of Officers, 17 times in the Khan-Uul district, nine times around Kharkhorin market; particulate matter less than 10 micrograms exceeded 9 times around Khan-Uul district, 24 times around West crossroad, 11 times around 1st and 13th micro district, 23 times around 32-nd Toirog, 13 times around Kharkhorin market; particulate matter less than 2.5 micrograms exceeded 29 times around West crossroad from the maximum allowable concentration of air quality standard in October, 2010.
In the first 11 months of 2010, 2,765 disasters occurred. As a result, 198 people died, 9.7 million heads of livestock had lost. According to the types of disasters 2349 object fires, 104 times forest fires, 28 heavy storms. Estimated damage caused by the disasters amounted to MNT 534.6 billion in the first 11 months, 2010.
