4979 THOUSAND MINES & UXO DEMOLISHED IN JULY
Baku, 08 AUGUST,(AzerTAj)Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) cleared the territory of 1 mln 398 thousand 801 square km of 4 thousand 979 mines and UXO in July, Agency`s press service said.
Reportedly, the operations involved 339 sappers, 30 UXO operators, 5 paramedics. Up to now, the territory of 71 million 978 thousand 787 square meters have been cleared, and 319 431 mines and UXO neutralized.
