PRIME MINISTER BECOMES HONORARY DOCTOR OF MSIIR

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Premier S.Batbold visited Monday the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MSIIR) in Moscow, Russia. There, he has given a lecture themed "Mongolia and Northeast Asia" to students and teachers.
The Premier in the lecture has highlighted Mongolia's history, culture, development, attitude, its role in international and regional arenas, and human development and foreign policy of Mongolia.
After this, a rector of the MSIIR A.V.Torkunov awarded the Premier a honorary title of doctor. This honorary title is granted to those politicians, social figures, scholars and diplomats who have gained successes in international relations and foreign policy. Among the awardees are, for example, Shimon Peres, President of Israel; Ban Ki-moon, the UN Secretary-General; Rafael Correa, the President of Ecuador; N.A.Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan; Jacques Chirac, a former president of France. An academician of the Academy of Sciences of Mongolia Sh.Bira has been granted this title as well.
The Prime Minister S.Batbold, who graduated the MSIIR in 1986, has expressed his satisfaction with visiting his alma mater and wished all students and teachers big successes.
