S.BATBOLD MEETS FOREIGN MINISTER OF RUSSIA

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In frames of his official visit, the Premier S.Batbold met Monday with S.V.Lavrov, the foreign minister of the Russian Federation.
They have begun the meeting with talking about the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MSIIR), where they were both educated, and reminiscing about their student life.
Mr. Lavrov has congratulated the Premier on being awarded the honorary title of doctor of the MSIIR, expressing a confidence that the official visit of Mongolia's Premier will significantly contribute to elevating the Mongolia-Russia relations into a new step.
The Prime Minister and the Russian foreign minister have considered urgent problems facing the two sides and matters on further collaboration. They have shared views on international and regional issues as well.
The Premier has underlined that the countries have to make now endeavor together to establish a bilateral agreement on free-trade in near future, to update the contract of railways and to improve effectiveness of joint factories. In response, Mr. Lavrov has said that he appreciates the Premier's position.
The same day, S.Batbold attended a Mongolia-Russia business meeting, and gave a speech to the gathered. During this meeting, the Premier signed several documents for boosting the Mongolia-Russia trade in a scope of enterprisers' collaboration.
