Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In the first 11 months of 2010, the number of live births decreased by 2,480 to 60,873, the number of mothers delivered children decreased by 2,478 or 3.9 percent to 60,660, compared to the same period of the previous year.
Aged 1-5 child mortality increased 106 or 50.2 percent to 317, while infant mortality decreased by 72 or 5.8 per cent to 1,175. The number of maternal deaths declined by 24 or 49.0 per cent to 25 against the previous year.
