Iran to face Yemen in quarter final beach football
Muscat, Dec 14, IRNA -- The preliminary round of Asian Beach Football ended Monday and Yemen is Iran’s competent in games’ quarter final round on Tuesday, after both teams’ rest on Monday.
The Iranian team has managed to reach the games’ quarter final as the top team of its Group 3.
Coached by their Brazilian head coach Marco Octavia, the Iranian footballers are scheduled to face Yemen at 15:45 at Oman Coast Sports Village by the side of Sana.
Three other quarter final games would be played on Tuesday, December 14, 2010, including the China-Syria at 14:30, the UAE-Japan at 17:00. and the Oman-Bahrain at 18:15.
The winners of those games would play the semi finals on Wednesday.
The Second Asian Coast Games began officially last Wednesday in Oman and would continue till December 16th.
Iran has participated in kabaddi, beach football, and triple contests of this round of the game.
The newly established Asian Beach Games are held once every two years and the first round of the games were held in Mali./end
