MP: Iran defends oppressed Palestine mightily
Tehran, Dec 14, IRNA – Majlis Vice Speaker Ali-Akbar Aboutorabifard said here Monday IRI and Parliament members defend Palestinians and oppressed Palestine quite mightily.
Hojjatoleslam Seyyed Ali-Akbar Aboutorabifard who was speaking Monday night for the members of the International Gaza Freedom Caravan further reiterated that the foundations of the usurper Zionist regime were set and then strengthened by such oppressor powers as Britain and the United States.
Following the strong continuous support of such oppressor powers of European countries, the zionist regime fortified its hegemony over the occupied lands, he added.
Referring to some historic highlights about the establishment of the Zionist regime and the way it gained strength he added, “The heads of the Zionist regime, too, are well aware of fact that after suffering the first defeat the downfall of the usurper Israel is unavoidable.”
Aboutorabifard said, “Once the Islamic countries faced defeat in confrontation with Israel, but presently the brave Muslim youth showed in the course of the Lebanon 33-Day War and the Gaza 22-Day War that the downfall and the eventual collapse of the Zionist regime is near at hand.”
Welcoming the International Gaza Freedom Caravan, he reiterated, “This group whose members are comprised of the citizens of various Asian and Latin American countries has showed with its symbolic move that the Muslims and the world free and aware nations are always conscious and opposed to oppression and cruelty.”
The Majlis vice speaker pointing out that the parliament members have donated between one day and one month of their salaries to Gaza residents, reiterated, “Also a noticeable amount of money was collected on this year’s International Qods Day for the Palestinian people that would be delivered to this caravan in form of goods in Syria to be handed to the freedom seeker Gaza residents eventually.”
The members of the International Gaza Freedom Caravan that are on their way to Syria and Gaza in Tehran now were on Monday welcomed at the IRI Parliament Palace by Vice Majlis Speaker Hojjatoleslam Aboutorabifard.
They chanted slogans such as “Viva Freedom”, “Down with Israel”, “Down with the Oppressors”, and “Viva Gaza” after entering the IRI Parliament’s premises.
The members of this caravan, inclusive of a number of Iranians, meanwhile visited the historic building of the first Iranian parliament house, where they listened to the addresses of Hojjatoleslam Aboutorabifard and the head of the caravan, Forouzi Mata Bourovala./end
