Yemen, Britain discuss education cooperation

SANA'A, Dec. 13 (Saba)- Yemeni and
British officials have discussed bilateral cooperation relations between the two
countries
in the educational sector and ways to strengthen and develop them to serve common
interests.
Education Minister Abdul-Salam al-Jawfi and the British deputy ambassador to Yemen
discussed activities and programs funded by the British government in the field of
Education
in Yemen.
The British diplomat handed over al-Jawfi an invitation from his British
counterpart, Michael Goff to attend the World Education Forum for Economic Success
to be held in
London during the period of 10 to 12 January.
The forum will discuss opportunities and challenges faced by education in the
world, particularly in developing countries.
