SENIOR ATHLETES WIN 15 MEDALS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The 16th Asia Masters Athletics Championships successfully took part December 6-12 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Games have been attended by athletes from 17 countries. Mongolia has been represented by 14 senior athletes aged 35-74.
The national team of Mongolia has won 7 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze medals. A senior athlete of Mongolia T.Tserendolgor has won a gold medal in women's contest of javelin throw in age category of 70-74, and broken Asian record.
On the last day of the Games, a competition of long distance race took taken place. Mongolian athletes have won six medals from this competition.
