Iran-Turkey underline need to boost bilateral ties

Ankara, Dec 11, IRNA – Officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkey here on Saturday reviewed issues of mutual interest and called for further expansion of all-out cooperation between the two neighboring states.

During a meeting, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs Amir-Mansour Borqe’i and Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu expressed their satisfaction with the growing trend of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Meanwhile, the two officials stressed that the two countries’ leaders are determined to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations in all areas.

In related developments, Borqe’i has also met and conferred with Turkish State Minister Cevdet Yilmaz who is also the Turkish Chairman of the Joint Iran-Turkey Economic Commission.

The existing economic and trade cooperation between the two nations was discussed by the two officials./end
