Official: borders of Razavi Khorasan are open
Mashad, Dec 11, IRNA – Commander of Border Guards in eastern part of the country said that all borders of the province with Afghanistan and Turkmenistan are open and the traffic is running.
General Mohammad Kazem Taqavi told IRNA on Friday evening that only in a few parts, there are restrictions for transiting vehicles carrying fuel from other countries to Afghanistan.
He added there are reasons for these restrictions which will be published at appropriate time.
Commander of Border Guards in Sarakhs area also said that border with Turkmenistan is open, too.
Colonel Mansour Hamedani said that traffic is running in the border and there is no problem in the area.
He added, in the next few days, some restrictions may be imposed by Turkmenistan government, because of a holiday in that country./end
