11 die in Pakistan's explosion: state TV

Islamabad,Dec 11, IRNA – At least 11 people were killed in a suicide blast in Pakistan's northwest on Friday, state television reported. Private Geo television reported that 15 people were killed in the blast near Hangu, a main city in northwestern Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa province.
Khalid Khan, Commissioner Kohat Division, of which Hangu is a city, said that an explosive-packed van was rammed into an under construction hospital.
It is the second blast in the Kohat region in two days.
On Thursday, suicide bomber killed 18 people and injured over 30 in Kohat.
Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani strongly condemned the blast in Hangu and declared it as brutal and inhuman act of the militants.
He reiterated the government resolves to fight against these elements. He ordered the authorities to provide best medical facilities to the injured./end
