AZERBAIJANI FLAG RAISED IN BEIJING`S OLYMPIC VILLAGE
Baku, AUGUST 8 (AzerTAj) - A flag-raising ceremony of the Azerbaijan Olympic delegation took place Thursday in Beijing`s Olympic village. The event was opened by the village`s Mayor Chen Zhili.
The ceremony brought together members of the Azerbaijani delegation including Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov, Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee Chingiz Huseynzade, Azerbaijani Ambassador to China Yashar Aliyev and other officials.
