NEXT MEETING OF PA BSEC ECONOMIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE DUE IN BAKU
Baku, AUGUST 8 (AzerTAj) - The Economic Affairs Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PA BSEC) will hold its next meeting in Baku on September 9-10.
The meeting will focus on cooperation between the Black Sea region and World Trade Organization.
Member of the Azerbaijan Milli Majlis (Parliament), PA BSEC Vise-President Asaf Hajiyev said Azerbaijan`s image and role in BSEC has recently increased very much.
He underscored the country was one of Europe`s energy supplier. “Oil-gas projects, rich natural potential, human recourses have increased Azerbaijan`s role not only in the Caspian, but also on the Black Sea region†he added, According to Mr. Hajiyev, PA BSEC meetings mainly focus on energy-related issues.
