DPRK and China discuss ways of dvlpmnt of bilateral relations.

PYONGYANG, December 9 (Itar-Tass) -- DPRK Leader Kim Jong Il discussed
ways of development of bilateral relations, as well as problems of mutual
interest with member of the Chinese State Council Dai Bingo who arrived
here for a visit, the Central News Agency of North Korea reported on
Thursday. The Chinese delegation includes Deputy Foreign Minister Zhang
Zhijun.
Dai Bingo conveyed a message from Chinese President Hu Jintao to the
Secretary General of the Korean Workers' Party and Chairman of the State
Defence Council and presented a gift to him.
After that Kim Jong Il and Dai Bingo had a talk which "passed in a
warm and friendly atmosphere."
The visit of the Chinese delegation is held against the background of
sharply aggravated relations in the Korean Peninsula after the artillery
shooting between the DPRK and the Republic of Korea in the Yellow Sea on
November 23.
