STUDENTS RECEIVE SCHOLARSHIPS FROM GOLOMT BANK
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ It took the eighth competition for top students to receive scholarships named after the Golomt bank. The names of winners of the scholarship have been announced. According to the organizers of the event, the program's criteria are getting tougher year by year.
In total, 427 students from 82 universities and institutes filed maretials. In selection, the criteria were considered such as academic achievements, essays writing, interviews and others, and the best hundred have been nominated.
This year, the Golomt bank, who constantly supports the education sector, has increased its grants by 50 percent. Scholarships are now 66.6 million togrog. Total grants amounting to 400 million MNT received 700 students from the year 2003.
This year's winners have received a card "Nandin picture". The award money will be transmitted into their cards every month. Of these one hundred and ten lucky ones are studying in provinces.
