TOKYO, December 8 (Itar-Tass) - Russian presidential chief of staff
Sergei Naryshkin will visit Tokyo on December 9-10, the Japanese Foreign
Ministry reported on Wednesday.
During the visit, Naryshkin will meet the leadership of the country
and take part in closing the Russian Culture Festival 2010, the ministry
said.
On Thursday, the Russian presidential chief of staff will confer with
Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan and Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshito
Sengoku to discuss bilateral issues, i.e. the signing of a peace treaty
and international problems, including the situation on the Korean
Peninsula.
The Russian Culture Festival has been held in Japan since 2006.
