Karimov to participate in CSTO Council, CIS summit in Moscow
TASHKENT, December 8 (Itar-Tass) -- Uzbek President Islam Karimov will participate in a session of the Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and a meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State due in Moscow on December 10, the Uzbek news agency UzA reported on Wednesday.
Specifically, the CSTO Council will discuss higher efficiency of the
crisis response system and the status of forces and instruments of the
collective security system.
The Council of CIS Heads of State will consider 20 draft documents
seeking for more intensive integration processes in economic and
humanitarian spheres, ensuring security and other trends in the CIS
activities.
