Jalili highlights Iran's 'deep, friendly ties' with Arab states

Geneva, Dec 8, IRNA -- Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili on Tuesday strongly emphasized Iranian deep and cordial relations with its Arab neighbors.
Addressing a press briefing following his talks with the G5 plus 1, Jalili stressed efforts to damage Iran's close relations with its Arab neighbors were doomed to fail.
Pointing to Iran's 'deep, friendly and historic' relations with its neighbors and other regional countries, the chief negotiator made it clear that his country's ties with the regional states were far stronger and could not be damaged by these questionable Wikileaks revelations.
'These kind of games don't have an impact in our friendly relations with the countries in the region,' he added.
Iran has initiated security pacts with several neighboring Arab states to help restore peace and security in the region./end
