MONGOLIA TO HOST ASEM'S CONFERENCE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The 10th Conference of the Directors-General of Immigration of the ASEM members will be held 2011 in Mongolia in accordance with a decision of the 9th Conference which ran November 20-23 in Brussels, Belgium.
Mongolia was represented at the 9th meeting by a delegation headed by D.Moron, a head of the Service for Foreign Citizens and Citizenship. The meeting has considered three basic themes--the detection of unaccompanied minors, the detection of irregular migrants, the selection of labor migrants and the selection of students. Related speeches and reports have been delivered as well.
In frames of the meeting, the Mongolian delegation met with authorities of the immigration services of Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, Hungary, China and the Philippines, and officials of the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
