Jalili-Ashton review Iran-G5+1 talks
Geneva, Dec 7, IRNA – Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili and the European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton here on Monday evening reviewed the continued talks between Iran and the Group 5+1.
The axis of Tuesday talks between Iran and representatives of Group 5+1 was also discussed by both officials.
Iran and G5+1 resumed talks in Geneva on Monday after a lapse of 13 months.
Ashton is negotiating on behalf of the Group 5+1 (US, China, Russia, France, Britain and Germany).
Except for representatives of the US and Russia, the German, French, British and Chinese envoys have changed and Ashton has replaced Javier Solana to be in charge of the talks with Iran./end
