Official: Accepting Iran’s n-rights, prelude to more co-op

Tehran, Dec 7, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said acknowledging the rights of Iran to a nuclear fuel circle will be a prelude to more cooperation in the area of peaceful nuclear activities.
Mehmanparast made the remarks here Tuesday morning in his weekly press briefing in reaction to the recent inclination expressed by US Foreign Secretary Hillary Clinton towards accepting Iran’s nuclear rights during a security conference in Bahrain.
He said such remarks were positive steps but the important thing was that the partners in the talks accepted Iran’s rights in practical terms.
He said making such a decision by those countries required courage, adding that they should acknowledge rights of nations and stop trying to impose their views on other countries./end
