Ahmadinejad urges Islamic world co-op to conquer problems

Tehran, Dec 7, IRNA – Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that Islamic and independent countries can conquer all problems by strengthening cooperation and harmony which will lead to advancement and wellbeing among such nations.
According to the information website of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Presidential Office, the President made the remark in the Monday night meeting with visiting Prime Minister of Djibouti Dileita Mohamed Dileita.
During the meeting, Ahmadinejad also referred to both nations’ shared cultures and objectives, pointing out that the hearts and minds of Iran and Djiboutian are intermingled and that both countries must take advantage of such commonalties aimed at providing an appropriate path for boosted bilateral and international cooperation.
The president expressed hope that the already reached agreements would be implemented, emphasizing that the process of bilateral talks would expand and broaden at the service of ever increasing the level of ties between both sides.
For his part, Dileita Muhamed presented a report on the process of negotiations with Iranian officials, describing ties between both nations as “brotherly and idealistic.” Iran's first vice-president was also present during the meeting.
Iran and Djibouti have shared ideals and objectives and are today persuing increased comprehensive ties and cooperation, Dileita Muhamed added.
He also asked for taking advantage of every potential at both ends aimed at achieving that objective to serve the national interests of the two Muslim nations./end
