Swiss MP urges G5+1 to respect Iran's nuclear right

Vienna, Dec 7, IRNA – Geri Muller, a member of National Council of Switzerland said here on Monday that members of the Group 5+1 should respect Iran’s right to produce peaceful nuclear energy.

Talking to IRNA, he termed the ongoing G5+1-Iran talks in Geneva as very important.

The Islamic Republic of Iran, as other world countries, has the right to construct nuclear power plants, he said, adding that there is no logical reason for banning Iran to that end.

Tehran has already fulfilled all its commitments to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Muller said, urging the other side to respect Iran’s inalienable right to produce nuclear energy for civilian utility./end
