President Saleh hands cup to Gulf 20 winning team

ADEN, Dec. 05 (Saba) - =
President Ali Abdullah Saleh attended Sunday evening the final match of =
the 20th Gulf Cup between
Saudi Arabia and Kuwait in Yemen's business capital of Aden.
Kuwait stunned Saudi Arabia 1-0 in the first half of extra time to win =
the Gulf 20 cup for the tenth time in the championship history.
Saleh handed the cup, which was made from the pure white gold in Italy, =
and gold medals to the Kuwaiti team, while silver medals went to the =
Saudi team.
Three Kuwaiti footballers won awards as the best player, the best =
goalkeeper and the top goalscorer in the tournament.
Prime Minister Ali Mujawar, Deputy Prime Minister of Kuwait Sheikh =
Ahmad Fahd al-Ahmad, President of the Asian Football Confederation =
Mohammad bin Hammam and heads of participating
delegations attended the match.
