Manama Security Conference winds up
Manama, Dec 6, IRNA -- The 17th regional confab dubbed Manama Security Dialog wound up on Sunday afternoon.
High-ranking officials from over 25 countries along with representatives from international institutes such as the United Nations attended the three-day meeting in Manama, Bahrain.
During the meeting, the participants studied various issues such as existing challenges to restore regional security.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki leading a delegation attended the confab and delivered a keynote speech to the conference.
Mottaki also conferred with foreign counterparts on the sidelines of the confab on issues of mutual interests.
The annual confab is a joint collaboration between Institute for Strategic Studies in London and Bahrain foreign ministry./end
