MEMORANDUM UNDERSTANDING ON COOPERATION SIGNED
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Mayor's office of Ulaanbaatar and Millennium Challenge Account Mongolia signed on Friday a memorandum of understanding on cooperation.
This document has been signed to implement at Ulaanbaatar objectives and activities outlined in the contract that is concluded between the Government of Mongolia and the U.S. government, through its Millennium Challenge Corporation. Under the memorandum, the parties intend to carry out the highway project on the laying of the road length of 3.4 km from the intersection Ulaistai to checkpoint Bayanzurkh, 20.9 km of road to the suburban district Nalaikh, as well as the construction of a bridge over the River Tuul.
In accordance with the signed document of the city administration has undertaken in the framework of the law give the National Endowment for the operational solution works as an engineering-geological and hydrological studies and geodetic measurements, as well as in obtaining documentation needed to develop environmental assessment and preparation of detailed design drawings.
