Larijani lauds national perseverance to withstand hostile approaches
Kermanshah, Dec 5, IRNA -- Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said on Saturday that Iran persevered to achieve the aspirations of late Imam Khomeini despite difficulties created by enemies.
Larijani made the remarks in the closing ceremony of the 8th cultural festival in Kermanshah.
He said that the late Imam taught the brave Iranian nation how to thwart hostile approaches of the enemies and the global arrogance.
In the past 32 years, the Islamic Republic has experienced various scenarios, plots as well as arrogant interference in its domestic affairs, Larijani said.
The enemies are afraid that the methodology established by the late Imam consistent with the international community to affect them, he added.
“I am quite confident that they are quite familiar with various dimensions of our nuclear activities and the United Nations resolutions, sanctions, orchestrating criminal scenarios as assassination of university professors have roots in their hostile approaches toward Iran,” Larijani concluded./end
