New power transmission line to be built from Russia to China.

IRKUTSK, December 2 (Itar-Tass) - The construction of a high-voltage
electric power transmission line VL-500 running from Russia to China
begins in the Amur region, the department of the Eastern Siberian Railway
told Itar-Tass on Thursday.
The Irkutsk subsidiary of First Cargo Company will supply concrete and
steel constructions for a new electric power bridge across the Amur River
that is expected to be launched in late 2011.
At present, there are three power transmission lines linking Russia
and China in the Amur region.
A new electric power transmission line will allow to provide electric
power to a considerable part of China's Heilongjiang Province, including
its capital of Harbin.
