CABINET MEETING IN BRIEF

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ At its regular meeting on Wednesday, the Cabinet discussed draft laws on amending the laws--on drafting bills and other decisions of parliament and submitting them to parliament, and on the rules of plenary sessions of the Great State Hural. It has been decided to submit them to parliament after having cabinet's suggestions reflected in it.
The Cabinet approved a many-sided draft agreement on establishing in UB city the International Development Research Centre of the landlocked developing countries. Full right to sign this document has been given to State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar. An approval of the Cabinet also received a draft Mongolian-Russian Intergovernmental agreement on mutual protection of intellectual property in the process of military-technical cooperation between the two parties. The right to ink the document has been given to the Minister of Defense of Mongolia L.Bold. He has also been granted the right to sign the Mongolian-Russian Intergovernmental agreement on training of underage citizens in special schools with additional program for the implementation of the military training of youth. As expected, it will give opportunities to continue the education of children, increase a number of students, expand cooperation in the sphere of defense, and have newer forms of the cooperation and relationship recognized at a high level.
