Berlin symposium dwells on Iran housing investment opportunities

Berlin, Nov 30, IRNA - An international sypmposium on investment opportunities in Iran's housing sector was held in Berlin on Tuesday.
Addressing the one-day conference, head of Iran's Housing Foundation (Bonyad Masskan) Alireza Tabesh voiced Tehran's readiness to cooperate with foreign firms in housing construction projects and the in production of construction materials.
He pointed out Turkish and Malaysian companies had already entered Iran's market.
Tabesh referred to plans by the Iranian government to allocate state-owned lands for private construction projects.
Meanwhile, several architects from Germany, Austria and Turkey briefed the participants of the symposium on various aspects of contemporary housing, including energy efficiency, new construction technics, construction materials and earthquake-proof as well as family-friendly buildings./end
