WARSAW CELEBRATES INDEPENDENCE DAY OF MONGOLIA
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ At the Embassy of Mongolia in Warsaw, a ceremony has run to close events dedicated to the 60th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Poland and to mark the 86th anniversary of the independence of Mongolia.
During the opening ceremony, the Ambassador of Mongolia to Poland O.Dambiinyam noted that the Mongolian-Polish relations since the early 1990 have been enriched by new contents and forms, based on common values of humanity. Then, according to the decree signed by the President of Mongolia, O.Dambiinyam awarded some Polish with state orders and medals.
The order of the "Polar Star" has gone to Senate Marshal Bogdan Borusewicz, Polish Mongolist S.Gojinski, a medal "Nairamdal"--to Chairman of the Polish-Mongolian Parliamentary Group S.Gorchitsa and Mongolist A.Bareya-Stajinska.
At the events, an exhibition has been mounted to show Mongolian writing.
