NARANBAATAR WINS AGAIN
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Mongolian State Honored athlete and a silver and bronze medalist of World Wrestling Championships, B.Naranbaatar has been competing in Bundesliga, which is the top division of team wrestling in Germany.
To struggle in nine rounds, he scored 7th victory from the eight round competitions on Saturday. Only two wrestlers from Asia selected to represent Asia in that Bundesliga--B.Naranbaatar and the Japanese, Olympic silver medalist T.Matsunaga. In the first round match, B.Naranbaatar competed against World championship's silver medalist wrestler from Moldova.
Naranbaatar has signed the contract with “KSV Kollerbach" club which is located in Cologne, Germany. Naranbaatar has been selected to compete in the play-offs, besides, the best 24 teams compete in the play-offs, which consist of quarter-finals and semi-finals.
The finals, to go around February, consist of one set of matches (in different weight classes). Another set of matches on another evening is expected.
In addition, every year since 1963, championships have been held by Bundesliga-Ringen. Each time a team competes, then a number of the matches will be contested by rules of Greco-Roman wrestling, and the rest of the matches will be fought by the rules of Freestyle wrestling.
