Yemen orphans to get free medicine, education
SANA'A, Aug 06 (Saba) - Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Amat
al-Razaq Humad has noted that one million orphans across the
republic will get free medical and educational services.
She said the Social Fund for Development will also grant soft
loans for orphan families to help them improve their living
conditions to enable them participate in the development process in
the country.
Launching an international symposium on orphan care and qualifying, Humad stressed the importance of partnership between the ministry and civil society organizations.
She pointed out the distinguished role of the civil society
organizations in monitoring the affairs of orphans.
Humad also touched on the orphan care houses whose number reached
30 houses.
