IRNA's news photos rank 1st on OANA website
Istanbul, Nov 25, IRNA – News photos of Iran's state news agency (IRNA) ranked first among the selected photos on the website of the Organization of the Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA), it was announced here on Wednesday evening.
OANA President Ahmad Mukhlis Yusuf made the announcement during a meeting of the OANA's Executive Board which was held in the largest city of Turkey on Wednesday evening.
The meeting will be followed by the OANA General Assembly meeting which is to begin in Istanbul on Thursday.
During the past year, OANA has received more than 1,500 news photos from IRNA, Yusuf said in the meeting which was also attended by IRNA Chief Ali-Akbar Javanfekr.
Among the 42 members of OANA, IRNA had the highest degree of cooperation with the organizaton in the past year, Yusuf added.
Meanwhile, Javanfekr said, for his part, that IRNA would continue its support for OANA and try to promote it in the future./end
