Al-Mutawakil: Yemen to become WTO member yearend

SANA'A, Nov. 27 (Saba)- Minister of
Industry and Trade Yahya al-Mutawakil has affirmed that the 8th bilateral agreement
has
been signed with El Salvador within the framework of finalizing requirements of
accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) which reinforces its position to be
granted
full membership by the end of the current year.
In a statement to Saba Saturday, he pointed out there is only one country left to
hold similar negotiations with which the Ukraine.
Al-Mutawakil pointed out the clear understanding of the international community to
finalize accession requirements of the WTO to help Yemen overcome the national
economic
challenges.
He affirmed that Yemen has no difficulties in the mean time to become a member in
this important international community.
