Yemen in talks with WFP over ongoing nutrition process

AMRAN, Nov. 27 (Saba)-
General Secretary of Amran Local Council Saleh al-Makhlos reviewed on Saturday with
Representative
of World Food Program on ongoing implementation process in the field of health
nutrition.
The talks dealt with what WFP has provided to food assistance to pregnant women,
nursing mothers and infants in a number of districts to improve the nutritional
status and
health of women and children.
During the meeting, al-Makhlos praised the WFP's effort to provide food assistance
for women and children as a contribution to meet the needs of women and children,
affirming
the importance of focusing on the districts which suffer from lack of nutrition,
especially the remote areas.
